Beginning Experience of the Hudson Valley currently offers four programs.

Healing Weekend

The Beginning Experience Healing Weekend creates the time and space to delve deeply into the emotional aftermath of the end of a spousal relationship. Through listening, writing, and sharing, the participants explore the various aspects of the grief journey in a safe and caring environment. Participants are encouraged to look in new ways at their current circumstances, reevaluate themselves, and move forward with hope.

In the Beginning … Coping With Life Alone

This one-day introductory program is designed to help those who are grieving the end of a spousal relationship. The program helps the participants begin to deal with the loss and focus on what lies ahead. It is a day of support for those who are seeking hope and healing. While it is intended to assist those newly grieving, all are welcome to attend.

Moving Forward With Hope … Coping With Life Alone

This is a multi-session program designed to help those who are grieving the end of a spousal relationship. This program helps participants explore the impact of their loss and how to handle the feelings that accompany it. This program can be the beginning of the healing process.

Building Happiness

This multi-session program is for those who are looking to take ownership of their own happiness after the end of their spousal relationship. This program helps participants better understand themselves and how they relate to others. Participants are invited to examine their approach to being happy and to realize that personal happiness can be found from within.
